Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is empowered to act on behalf of the Council in administering the activities of Council during the intervals between the Council’s semi-annual meetings. Executive Committee decisions are subject to the formal ratification by Council when they are reported at the next regular meeting of Council. Council may also delegate its decision-making authority to the Executive Committee to facilitate timely and effective action. Click here for membership

Benefits Committee

Responsible for the management of the following functions for benefits plans

  • Responsible for monitoring the financial performance of the benefit plans.
  • Conducts the appeals process for these same plans.
  • Oversees the content of the plans.
  • Recommends changes to the plans. The plans are:
    • Long Term Disability
    • Supplementary Health
    • Dental
    • Travel Insurance
    • Life Insurance
